So what do injectable fillers like Radiesse and Juvederm do? These fillers are used to temporarily reverse the aging process. They can be used to plump up a puny lip line or fine lines around the lips and they can also be used to fill in deep, furrowing lines around the forehead, eyes and around the nose and mouth. Unlike plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures like injectable fillers are quick, easy and relatively painless. And although they both add volume and plump problem areas, Radiesse is not suggested for use around the lips or fine lines, whereas Juvederm can be used on virtually any area. Juvederm can last anywhere from four months to one year, and costs around $500.00 for Ultra and $550 for Ultra Plus. Although Radiesse can cost $525 for 1.5cc , it provides longer lasting results of one to two years.
