We’re excited to announce that a new neurotoxin (Jeuveau™) is here at NewSkin Laser Center in Northridge and Simi Valley. Jeuveau™, from Evolus, is the first FDA-approved wrinkle relaxer to hit the market in nearly a decade. Jeuveau works similarly to BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin by temporarily relaxing overactive muscles that cause wrinkles. This new addition will give patients another option for aesthetic wrinkle relaxing in Northridge and Simi Valley.

What makes Jeuveau so exciting? Jeuveau is the Newtox on the Block. 

Like BOTOX, Botulinum Toxin Type A is the active ingredient in Jeuveau. The FDA approved Jeuveau in early February 2019. This approval gives providers the ability to treat frown lines and those vertical lines between your eyebrows. At NewSkin Laser Center, we are experts at injection botulinum toxins with over 20 years of experience. Our Specialist will inject the product directly into the muscle, temporarily relaxing and reducing muscle contractions that cause lines and wrinkles.

NewSkin Laser Center has been using Botulinum Toxins like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau to the surrounding communities of Simi Valley and Northridge.

Jeuveau is the only Neurotoxin that has similar properties as Botox but the clinical studies have shown that may subjects reported a slightly longer duration of effect.  

The only way to find out the difference is really to try it and see if the effects are longer lasting than Botox. On a positive note, the duration is not going to be less than Botox, so there is no risk of trying it.
