How much does liposuction cost?

The average cost of liposuction is around $5,500 nationwide, but it could be different depending on the location and the geographical area. Over $940 million dollars was spent on liposuction alone n 2020.  Significant amount of liposuction procedures were performed in the coastal states, especially California.  Los Angeles, Orange county and Ventura county had the highest amount of liposuction procedures per capita. Significant amount of the liposuction procedures are performed under general anesthesia, but tumescent liposuction or localized anesthesia has gained popularity.   Traditional liposuction tends to cost significantly more due to the need of surgical center fees, anesthesiologist and close monitoring post operation.  The follow up and the recovery is prolonged as well.  

Other liposuction procedures at significant discount have a very poor outcome and possibility of un-evenness or irregularities.  Any liposuction that involves heating, ultrasound or laser (vaser, 360) tend to have poor outcome and poor reviews.

These lipo prices are more geared towards women as they typically get more liposuction procedures done. However, liposuction for males typically runs a little higher. For example, liposuction for love handles on a male could cost around $5,300.

Please note that these liposuction procedures are performed at Newskin Laser under local anesthesia ( no General Anesthesia is needed).  This means, you go home the same day.   We do not recommend you driving home, but rather have someone picking you up.   

When can I go back to work?

Most people go back to work within 1-3 days after Liposuction.    Again, our HD liposuction does not damage or tear the tissue as it is vibration assisted therefore it is very gentle on your body.  

Liposuction and Abdominal Etching procedure cost;
